The interruption can be eliminated, for a fee. The loud message, informing me of what I absolutely need, have to have, can not be a complete person without the latest item for sale. I can pay money to listen to music seamlessly, avoiding the message that someone has paid a significant amount so I can be provoked.
This coming weekend I know there will be people carrying signs, yelling their message of the need to repent and be saved. They flaunt their first amendment right to families enjoying cotton candy, teens flirting with each other, artists trying to make a living. For the people carrying signs, prosthelytizing, they believe they are absolutely right.
The latest offer in the mail, bonus miles, lower interest rates, or through the internet, body reduction or enhancements, all offered in your own best interest.
Open floor, body moving, no separation between music and soul. The message is clear, simple and joyful. Dance to your heart’s content, with gratitude, in answer to the spirit of the music. Dance to know without question what is in your best interest.
“Advice is like snow; the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper it sinks into the mind.”
–Samuel Taylor Coleridge,
